Castration Threats and the Case for Legalized Prostitution

There is a correlation between a loved-one's threat of castration and making the case for the legalization of prostitution. Among intimate couples who have been together into middle-age, sexual couples may become less passionate over time, and their interpersonal dealings with one another may be replaced with a raised intensity and angry quarreling. Some couples may find that their depression levels feed off one another thereby minimizing the incidence of sexual play; many quarrels crescendo with the threat or action of castration.

Separation in these bitter scenarios may seem the only viable solution. In heterosexual allies, and prior to any violent castration taking place, the man can choose to purchase a prostitute to relieve his unfulfilled desire. Instead of continued quarreling and begging, and waiting around to find out if his female lover will uphold her threat, he may choose to exit the situation, and for a price, arrange the services of a sexworker for his sexual satisfaction.

The woman's ire is raised, hoisted heavily upon the shoulders of her male mate; antithetically she is far from having sex, she threatens physical violence upon him, and the man removes himself from the heated situation in hopes that both parties can chill out. Pragmatically, immediate benefits result; each is given the opportunity to regain composure.

She does not want sex, especially from her male companion, she is angry; she may be menstruating, etc ... the thought of sex is not in the forefront of her being.

He simply does not want his testicles cut off or to be confronted physically or verbally in any manner that reduces his libido or testosterone levels any further than the natural advancement of age and loss of virility. Indeed, the male may not even be thinking or desiring sex in the moment that his castration is threatened.

It is precisely at these times he should seek out a prostitute. He should go to someone that has chosen to provide sex as a profession, eliminating any and all gratuitous emotional baggage beyond what a simple business transaction necessitates. For her part, the woman should take a similar course in those amorous moments that her mate simply will not do. The service comes with a cost but with proper financial planning the recurring household expense can easily be budgeted.

Unfortunately, prostitution is currently illegal in the United States.

Aside from morality (speaking of gratuitous), if one considers the inherent good in the abstinence from violence and, instead, chooses to engage in the sex act, social improvement irrefutably must follow. It is healthy to have an active sex life to strengthen pelvic muscles to ward off incontinence, to enhance our immune systems and our moods, as reported by scientific researchers at Queens University in Belfast and at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.

Economically-speaking, the legalization of prostitution may require a shift in our thinking. Sexworkers should be encouraged to make money without the insipid obstacles of law. Lawmakers beg to differ because they lose out; the institution loses control over its erotic minions. Instead of money changing hands in courtrooms, offices and hospitals, unregulated service transactions occur out in the open, free of violence and regulatory intervention, as men and women provide their tangible and professional services. The idea is to take institutional profits and control and put it back into the hands of the individual. Only as individuals will we sincerely feel compelled to stimulate our economy; to insist that culture in the United States catches up to the rest of the world; without the burdensome tandem of morality and violence.

You and your intimate partner know best: give one another the gift of infidelity and stimulate bedrooms across the country.

Have you been confronted with castration literally or figuratively? How did you handle the situation? In 2009, how do we argue against the legalization of prostitution?
